Do we want *all* the GADM terms as deprecated?

Browsing VEuGEO_top_merged.owl in Protege I see a very large number of deprecated terms at the root level.

The deprecated terms generated when converted VEuGEO OBO to OWL format using the tool. I will ask the tool developer for it.

I'm trying to edit the OWL file in Protege - seems slow on a 16GB RAM machine (though it doesn't seem to be using a lot of RAM). It might be quicker if those deprecated terms weren't there?

Can we delete them using Protege (or edit the owl file directly)?

I tried deleting 5 and I'm not sure it worked (it's eating CPU for several minutes again) - then it crashed :-(

Actually it didn't crash Protege - it just made the window size 0x0 - which it is now remembering when I try to start it again. Nightmare.

I asked the tool developer and was told it is likely caused by OWLAPI OBO to OWL conversion package. I can remove these deprecated terms in the file.
