Hey Ulrar,

Since few days, Forked Daapd addon doesn't work anymore.

At startup, I can see this logs:

  • Cache deinit
  • Worker deinit
  • Database deinit
  • mDNS deinit

and...Exiting

After that, the addon loops again and again.

I already uninstalled addon, removed repo,, and all the files in /share.

Have you got an idea?

Thank you.

Hi @Quintus-s,

Sorry, I missed this.
The deinit is just what it does when shutting down, do you get anything before that ?

No problemo!

I haven't seen this before. But since my quote, I realised the addon works anyway. So...

It also seems that the ingress doesn't work anymore. I've got a "502 - Bad Gateway" when I try to "Open Web UI" or if I create a shortcut with "Show In Sidebar".

Not a problem for me. If I open the web page directly on Chrome or else, it works.

I also can open it with an iFrame card on Home Assistant.

Here's a screenshot.

That's strange. Do you have any other addon that might be using port 1337 maybe ?
Are you running hassos or supervised ?

I don't think so.

I'm on Synology DSM package => Hass.io on Docker. Not sure if it's Hassos or Supervised. I've got "Supervisor" on it.

Hey,

Do any of these look familiar ? http://www.tcp-udp-ports.com/port-1337.htm
Just trying to figure out what could be using that port.

I suppose you could try copying the forked-daapd directory to your addons/local directory, changing the port in config.json and see if that works or not, just to confirm that is the issue at least.

Hey,

Not familiar, sorry.

No I didn't try to copy the entire folder and change configuration yet. I'll try it in few weeks (holidays ^^)
