There are many interesting experiences that we have across our community, along with questions that could be asked many times in an interactive context like Slack, and then lost forever. To engage with our community to better improve the overall experience for all members of US-RSE, to have a little fun, and to properly represent some of these enduring questions, we are opening up the Community Discussion board. This is a place to connect with other members of our community, share ideas, or just ask a question. We hope that you:

As with our other community channels, your conversation and posts are expected to adhere to the community Code of Conduct. We also welcome you to use other sources of information or help if Discussions is not what you are looking for!
Slack: 📢 is a good place to get a quick response from community members
Issues ❓ is where you should post website questions or issues
The USRSE site 🕸️ has formal content like events, the Code of Conduct, and blog posts.
Community Documents 📜 are stored in the wiki, and include work in progress or living documents on more verbose ideas for discussion.
