Background

We are conceptualizing UN Smart Maps Town Watch (#511). UN Smart Maps Town Watch collects what we called "temporary concerns" defined by @yuiseki.

Motivation

What if we define a simpler term for "temporary concerns" and use it in different activities like UN Smart Maps Town Watch, UN Smart Maps Challenges, and FOIL4G?

My proposal

Situational Temporary Information (STI)

Definition: Situational temporary information (STI) refers to information that captures the current state or condition of a specific location at a specific point in time. This information is transient and relevant only within the context of the present circumstances. STI is critical for timely decision-making and response in dynamic and rapidly changing environments such as disaster response, urban planning, and community safety monitoring.

Situational Temporary Information (STI)
