Saved video playback speed or default playback speed

Hi, i'm willing to learn Angular in order to implement this myself, but i'd like to know from the community / maintainers how they think about this.
Basically i watch almost all YouTube videos at 1.25x speed by default through a browser extension and i'd like to add a similar functionality to YouTubeDL-Material. It could simply be a localStorage saved variable of the last used video speed which would be simple because no backend involved, but it could also be a default video speed that's stored via the settings.
What do you think?
