  • coupled clocks between cells in plant (i.e. roots responding to light without sensing directly)
    • spatial model
    • coupling factor between adjacent cells
  • jet lag experiments
    • fitness dependant on recovery time
    • phase shifting

Temperature compensation experiment:

  • additional environmental input (temperature)
  • affecting lags
  • would also affect degradation rate maybe..
  • will speak to Mirela who has previously modelled temperature compensation in the clock

Something based on the complexity of the modelling system rather than the biological questions. For example different logical gate rules (with combinations of and/or for incoming interactions) or for different levels of individual genes etc.
