I have the same problem

I solved by referring to this URL.
firebase/firebase-js-sdk#1606

The focus of the problem→ version of @firebase/[email protected]

①npm uninstall @firebase/[email protected]
②npm install @firebase/[email protected]
③npm start

It didn't help me... what should I do?
on npm start I see:
Failed to compile
