Connection Error so SABNZBD 4.3.2

Using most current version of NZBDonkey, I get this when attempting to make simple connection via IP and default port. No username/password required. Not behind a proxy. API and NZB keys both tried, and both failed. Oddly enough, SAB reports "no API key present" in its console: "API key missing, please enter the API key from Config->General into your 3rd party program:" It is there. Tried both API and NZB keys.
