Style and formatting

Largely contributors have been left to do as they wish with regards to style and this has lead to a few issues.

Therefore, the project needs to be made to conform to a particularly style, to aid readability and predictability.

Certainly a large task and possibly ongoing, but nevertheless one that will be valuable and doable even by none-coders.
