Ability to merge time entries

It would be nice to be able to merge time entries, like the below entries

Hmm, seems a bit situational, what would you expect the tool to do, keep the start time of entry no.1 and end time of entry no.2 or have a way to pick which pair would be kept?

I understand the difficulties, same here as I am using Grindstone 3 (https://www.epiforge.com/grindstone/ ) which I sometimes use merge functionality. Usually I first sync #1 end time with #2 start time and then merge to just have one entry.
