"Cancelled" status

Sometimes a reservation might not happen as planned, and the person who made the reservation might have to cancel the original reservation. Would therefore be nice if there was functionality for a user to be able to "cancel" their reservation. Should be an alert asking if the user is sure before going through with it. When a reservation gets cancelled, this should remove the reservation from the calendar, making it possible for others to book that time-slot.
