  • In Vireo 3, first and last name are in the same column, making it easy to filter students alphabetically.
  • In Vireo 4, the separate columns produce an unintended result – when you filter by last name, the first names do not display in
corresponding alphabetical order. It seems random.
  • Combine First Name and Last Name as additional column

This is a feature request that might be difficult to get approved at a community level since many institutions will have already been using Vireo 4 with the separate columns. Adoption might be easier if we instead have the ability to sort first by last name and then second by first name.

This feature is only meant to provide a combined column that sorts alphabetically, and this column should not be available to be a custom filter.
