Two Handed Weapons Disappearing When pressing F for offhand 1.20.1, ver 1.51.1 of the mod

My friend was on our server today and lost her zig-zaggy sword with speed boost, and then when trying to figure out what she pressed she did press F while holding her brimstone claymore. Instead of switching to the offhand, the offhand came up but the weapon simply disappeared.

quite sure that's an intentional feature from better combat, its a 2-handed sword, you shouldn't be able to use it while on the offhand

How can a unique weapon vanishing from your inventory completely instead of... y'know just not letting you put it in your off hand like everything else you can't put in your offhand be an 'intentional feature.' Do you expect everything to delete itself if you put it in the wrong inventory slot? It's only if you press F as well, dragging it in doesn't make it disappear. Instead you get the expected result, it bounces back to your inventory- not the void.
