Hello Steve,

Downloaded your latest (2.4.5) today (11/24) and am giving it a try with the latest Kodi Leia, 18.5. This is on a Windows 7, 64 bit machine.
It seems that when trying to use either Channel rule, Force Resume Mode or Pause when not watching, the channel reloads itself on the next start and starts from the first episode again. I also tried using the pair of rules together with the same result.
Was wondering if you could take a look? You had this fixed at one point previously and then it somehow broke again. I have a copy of your PTV that works as it should, should you need it to compare or something. Just tested this copy of PTV with Kodi 18.5 and it doesn't really work as it should either. It does work on Kodi 17 though.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi mate,
Yep that's been broken with the 18.x Kodi.
Not sure what's changed or why, but m3u playlists react that way now.. :(
On start-up they will always start the requested vid at the beginning. After that the rest of the seek times (CH-UP, CH-DOWN, EPG) work ok once the script is running.

This still works with Kodi 17.6 and the Krypton branch of PseudoTV if you need that feature.

I thought I'd fucked up something, so I tested a portable 18.x Kodi install with the Krypton branch of PseudoTV...
Same result!! :(

Not sure if this project is worth it anymore?
I have NO confidence in the Kodi dev's.
Kodi has to be absolutely the worst video player on the market at the moment!

Just a heads up..
Next year I'm done with Kodi! So fork it if you need it..

Thanks to everyone that got involved along the way, it was fun...

I hope that my issue here didn't drive you to this decision Steve. I sure believe that it is worth it as PseudoTV is what keeps me with Kodi. Without it, I would probably go to Emby or Plex. Of course, I do not know the inner workings of Kodi or what the Devs may or may not be doing with the code. I understand your frustration though. I do hope that you will change your mind about not continuing with this fork. If not.....thanks for doing all that you have done up til now.

Na mate, It's nothing to do with your bug report!
I've just had enough of kodi.

Hey Steve. I just wanted you to know that I really have enjoyed your add-on, and continue to use it on a daily basis. This is the only bug that I would like to see solved. I don't even know if you're still keeping up with github comments at this point, and I know Kodi is a sore spot for you. I don't have any skills coding with Kodi or I would willingly dive into this... Is there any chance you'd come back for a one-off fix?

Here are my findings using 2.4.5 and Kodi 18.7:

Force Resume Mode, Pause when not watching:

Works as long as this is not the last channel you're on before exiting PseudoTV.
If you are watching this channel and exit, when your return it goes back to the beginning of the episode.

Real TIme:
Similar behavior as above. It works as long as this isn't the last channel you watch before you exit.

Here are my findings using 2.4.5 and Kodi 17.6:

Force Resume Mode, Pause when not watching:

Same as above...

Real TIme:
Doesn't seem to be affected. You exit then return and channel plays in real time on return.
