I have thousands of movies rated on Netflix (DVD). Now that they have ended that service, they provide PDF and CSV downloads of our ratings and history. I was hoping to use RatS to import those ratings into IMDb. My plan was to massage the CSV data into a JSON format suitable for import. I created a sample JSON file from Trakt as a test case.
However, that file includes IMDb data, even though I didn't make any reference to IMDb. I'm guessing that you use IMDb as a master reference for all movies. Is that correct? If so, then I think my project is not doable because I'd have to manually look up each movie on IMDb, in which case, there's no point to automating anything. Am I missing anything?
