Official recommendation from the Scryfall folks is to download the mana symbols and inline them into the site.

The SVG URIs should be mega-stable. But I would recommend downloading those to your project and embedding SVGs inline on your pages where you need them, rather than hotlinking (again, for faster web pages)

Not a super high priority, but good to have in the backlog.
