What versions of Elastic Search are Supported? #133

I'm really interested in using this add-on.
I'd like to understand what versions of Elastic Search are support, I cannot seem to find this information anywhere.

Also I'd also like to know if anyone is using the hosted Elastisearch from Amazon AWS.

We did support only 1.X versions.

There are no plan for supporting any other versions, since it would imply a lot of rework, especially for facets that have been removed in Elasticsearch 2.x.

Since Magento1 is slowly reaching end-of-life, we do not plan to have more commitment on this repository.
