I propose porting the rapid light device from whichever codebase added it - it's present on our WhiteSands-based repository. It allows you to quickly build and deconstructor lights using stored materials, in the same vein as the RCD.
Building lights is a particularly tedious and cumbersome process - not only do you need to do 5 steps for each light using 5 different items:
Craft fixture from iron
Place fixture on wall
Add wires to fixture
Screwdriver fixture
Add light to fixture
but adding wires to a fixture is particularly annoying, since the fixture is very small on the wall, and a misclick is likely to place a wire on what is usually exposed plating under the fixture.
