I am an undergrad student searching for fall 2025 internships. At the moment, this repo is my go-to source for finding new internships, but it is annoying to see that the off-season readme still has many summer postings. I understand if the company marks the same posting with a range of cycles they want candidates to apply for, but the off-season would be way easier to read if it excluded the summer cycle info. Additionally, some postings are outdated or wrong? The entry for Rivian posted on December 19th contains a fall 2024 tag... despite fall 2024 ending before the posting was even made. Other postings, despite being labeled as fall/spring/other off-season cycles turn out to be for summer internships. For example, the Virtu Financial posting made on January 03 is tagged as:
Winter 2025, Spring 2025, Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026, Summer 2026
Yet, when looking at the posting's application link, the dates of the internship are clearly marked as follows:
Dates: 10 week program, starting June 9th 2025 - August 15th, 2025 (with flexibility if needed)
It does, however, say that they are looking for: Rising juniors, or students expected to be ready for full-time employment between December 2025 - June 2026, which I think is where the confusion stems from.
This is not a detrimental issue that makes me want to move away from this repo as a resource, but cleaning up the tagging system a little bit, avoiding mistakes like posting a fall 2024 internship in December of 2024, and having misleading cycles would make it much more enjoyable (and simple) to use.
