Thank you for compiling the data so that we can perform the model testing challenge. We understand the rule that there is a limited data scenario to play with. However we wonder if it would be possible to have some more information regarding the lateral boundary conditions, which are very helpful for 2D models. In particular, do the lateral boundaries of this embayed beach lie on Transects 1 and 9? If not, how far away should we place them from those transects: 50m?, 100m?, 150m?

Transects 1 and 9 do not align exactly with the lateral boundary for more consistent satellite derived shoreline positions. To be precise, transect 1 is 200 m away from the northern headland and transect 2 is 100 m away from the southern headland.
