Most the images are gigantic pngs.

  • Change them to svg images

  • Load iamges progressively, like the entry page image

  • Lots of unused imports can be taken out, (should be fixed with a proper linter)

  • We can probaly lazy load some elements, like the svgs in contacts

  • the wrong font is displayed when connection is slow, make sure fonts are loaded first
