Device info

  • Phone type: Lumia 930
  • App version: 1.0.52 (and older versions as well)

Steps to reproduce

Can't actually reproduce the error, but it occurs regular.
Sometimes instantly after opening the app, sometimes while walking/driving around, sometimes while I try to transfer a pokemon (dialog stays open after I click o transfer)

Actual behavior

On the map screen: Only the map is usable, but not the controls. I can zoom(without restrictions), pan and rotate the map, but tapping on anything doesn't work (no reaction)

On the catch screen: picture freezes and I can't do anything (not going back, throw another ball, select item)

On the transfer screen: After click in transfer in the dialog, nothing happens and the app freezes.

Even If I kill the app (long press back button and close), the app stays for some seconds on the screen, before the home page of windows appear.

Expected behavior

No freezes while walking around, catch or transfer pokemon

Other information

Im not sure, If there are some long running tasks in the background, which block the fg thread. If I wait long enough while in frozen state, the app crashes hard.
It also seems, that playing music in the background or using bluetooth fasten the probability to get into the frozen state.
And after the first time, the frozen state occurs, the probability, that it appears, seems to increase.

I can confirm this problem on Lumia 930.

App freezing (approximately)
1.0.29 - often, in every 6-10 min
1.0.50 - I wasn't able to login
1.0.51 - very often, in every 1-3 min (this was sick!!!)
1.0.52 - rarely, in every 15-20 min

When closing PoGo (after it freezes) app stays in phone memory about 15-20 sec (navigation icon and proximity sensor stays active - screen backlight turning off when sensor is closed). If try to open app in this period it can't start (it will be blue PoGo's screen with infinite loading)
