Assess page refreshes everytime collector starts or stops for new url

As the title says, the assess page refreshes every time a collector starts or stops ingesting data from a new URL. I don't know whether it happens at ingestion start or stop.

In the "core" container, the logs show a GET request

• GET /api/v1/assess/news-item-aggregates-by-group/

As this GET request happens, the screen goes empty for a split second while the request is being handled and the data is shown on screen. When ingestion starts for all news sources, it causes the assess page to refresh (and flash an empty page) every couple of seconds.
