Describe the Problem

The Debian & Ubuntu repositories already have a package named maptool. Virtually all Linux distributions using the dpkg and apt packaging systems will contain this repository naming conflict, as a result.

The Solution you'd like

Rename the package to rptools-maptool or something similar. At this time, these have no conflicting package in the repositories.

Alternatives that you've considered.

The package name could be changed to many different things that would be unlikely to conflict. It would probably be smart to also change the name of the tokentool package, though it does not conflict with anything else in the repositories at this time.

This bit me when I installed a development snapshot and then an apt update installed the other maptool, so it's not a cosmetic problem.
