I'd love to see Postbox (http://www.postbox-inc.com/) compatibility for the
Colored Diffs plugin.

Sorry, but no way :) I can't make myself fix bugs in Thunderbird version, 
rewriting
it to another mailer is out of question :)

I thought it would be a fairly simple change, because postbox uses the mozilla
framework and plugin system with some small changes.

Hence  a lot of plugin developers add the extra code to their plugins to make 
them
work in both Thunderbird and Postbox. 

I can imagine though that it's difficult to combine.
