As mentioned in #91 there may be cases where it is not initially clear whether to use the GfG or PHI phenotype workflow.

It may be useful in the future to have a 'quick' mechanism for switching annotations between these two type? Perhaps for Admin?

For now we will collect the examples when they occur

  1. https://canto.phi-base.org/curs/69e99b22bfebf3b0/ro/
Most annotations fall under the GfG workflow, however these truncated protein-protein interaction expts could not be curated under the GfG section as these constructs had not been tested in planta so it was not possible to record compatible/incompatible AE. Therefore I manually moved then out of the GfG section and re-entered them under the PHI phenotype section.

Initially the author curating this session was confused by different delivery mechanisms and placed the pathogen protein infiltration into leaf expts under the PHI phenotypes and the pathogen inoculation expts under the GfG section. This has been rectified by manually re-entering the annotations and making the PHI-ECO delivery mechanism terms clearer.

  1. Also PMID:16965554 The C-terminal half of Phytophthora infestans RXLR effector AVR3a is sufficient to trigger R3a-mediated hypersensitivity and suppress INF1-induced cell death in Nicotiana benthamiana. #55

This paper curation was started before the new GfG curation type. As the GfG AE were not added to annotations whilst in the PHI curation session, the transfer script has not automatically added them to the GfG curation type. I will need to do this manually and add appropriate GfG AE.
