@matthew-mizielinski I have not caught on that we were discriminating by spatial sampling in tables. Only REALM-FREQUENCY pairs. These ocean vars are tricky, as the *rho* variables are the density coord, and others are *z* (pressure) coords, but in reality these should likely be the same variable, with the coordinate dependent on the model. Ideally, collapsing these variables back into a single quantity, on it's native (or remapped) vertical coordinate would be my aspiration.
The OPmon vs OPmonLev vs OPmonZ separation is something that I'd not caught:
Should the following changes be made to ensure zonal means are in zonal mean tables?
OPdec/msftyrho
OPdecZ/msftyrho
OPdecLev/msftyz
OPdecZ/msftyz
OPmon/msftyrho
OPmonZ/msftyrho
OPmon/msftyrhompa
OPmonZ/msftyrhompa
OPmonLev/msftyz
OPmonZ/msftyz
OPmonLev/msftyzmpa
OPmonZ/msftyzmpa
