The "Insecure Android Network Security Config" vulnerability is an issue where sensitive data could be intercepted as it travels between a mobile application and a server, or even between different parts of an application, due to inadequate security configurations1. This vulnerability arises mainly from the use of insecure communication protocols, such as clear-text HTTP, or misconfigured security settings within the Android application.
