If you mean "todo" tags in the RST file: There is a configuration file switch that turns on or off whether they are meant to appear in the document. I am not sure from your title what exactly your issue is that you want to address.

That might be why they are there. I saw TODO text showing up in my rendered
book while working with hossam, and I wanted to make a note to myself to
ensure that it's not because I clobbered something. I suspect now, however,
that as you say, They are intentionally there because of that config flag.
Hopefully so, since then I can close the issue without worry. I'll check
after my exam.

Sure, just flip the value in the config file, recompile, and see if it goes away. ;)
