Opening this as a discussion for our priorities before launch. We want to get this available to CMPD within the next week / week and a half. While we can keep getting functionality added in live, it'd be best to knock these tasks out of the way to avoid headaches.

Improvements to the nomination form ( #154 and others? )

Since the nomination form is the first thing that's actually used it's important that it's 100% functional the way it will be used by counselors.

New paper nomination form ( #146 )

@Jillzey We still need the latest version of the paper nomination form so we can make that available for download.

Any changes that require database changes

Once we're launched, database changes will have to be done manually until we implement migrations (which I would rather not worry about until next year). We need to get any issues that involve schema changes completed, the biggest of which outside of the nomination form adjustments would be the adoption site functionality and changes to approvals.

We need to be able to log...

  • child_sponsors
  • child.sponsor_id

and probably a few extra fields to make sure that the child's wishlist was indeed fulfilled by the sponsor.

Deployment options

Any suggestions to make hosting and deployments as painless as possible? 🤔
