Reach to the file name by the path

I see most of using the library, use loop through the directories to reach to the file, Is there a way to reach to the file by the path direct. Where the folder in shared folders in OneDrive.

look into the code a bit:

drive.get_item_by_path

I think this function work only for the main files which i created it , not for shared files and folders.
