Feature proposal: more flexibility to manipulate the lanes (maybe frets too)

I haven't thought through this a ton but it would be nice to change the lanes to be lines and not rects as well as maybe style them a bit. I am willing to work on this but wanted to get some feedback on it.

@koryteg it sounds okay to me. The lanes and "frets" were created to precisely match a mockup for the project these components were made for within Netflix. The tricky bit to changing how they can be manipulated is that it could amount to a breaking CSS change for existing apps.
