ReadEasy

Removes distracting elements from web pages. Makes reading easier.

Installation

To install and use this firefox extension

Clone this repository or download the source code

  1. Open Firefox and enter about:debugging
  2. Go to This Firefox
  3. Click on Load Temporary Add-On
  4. Select manifest.json here

The extension should now be ready to use

To check if it is running or properly loaded

Click on the extension icon on the toolbar to find ReadEasy extension

Usuage

Once the extension is installed, it will run in the background. Open your desired tab. Click on the extension icon and remove the images or ads as per your wish. If images are removed it will provide a neat and clean reading space. If ads are removed, it will prevent ads from being displayed on web pages.
