Post item suggestions for what should be added to be sellable/buyable from the shopkeepers

Preferably in this format:

Why it should be added:

Item: Mob Spawn Eggs

  • Bought Only
    Price: $20000 at least
    Reason: While Pokemon do make fun pets they cannot be out of the ball all the time unless you sacrifice a ranch block. The high price tag is because these guys are not normally obtainable since Mob World kind of kicked the bucket. People have also caravan-ed these guys halfway around the world, so desire is there.

Item: Tumblestones

  • Bought
    Price: $150
    Reason: There are two ways to get these things. Kill certain pokemon and win a 5% chance (Its only 100% drop rate on Machamp and Golem) or use rock smash (disabled external move) in a mineshaft to my knowledge. These are needed to make Ancient Pokeballs, Great Balls, and Heavy Balls. None of these are sold but they look far superior to the base balls.

@BunkerMonk

Item: Unknown Blocks (They the temple bricks with Unknowns on them)
Price: $30
Reason: They do not have a crafting recipe and thus unobtainable otherwise.

@Khrisstias
Copy link

Item(s): Medicinal items such as: Ethers, Potions, the herbal medicines
Price: ?Unknown?
Reason: They come from pokeloots and are trash otherwise, sure you can use them but more often than not players are gonna use /warp pokecenter anyhows.

Item: Nautilus shell
Bought/Sold: Sold to market
Price: 50-75
Reason: Rare-ish fishing drop whose only use ingame is for a conduit, assuming you get a heart of the sea from a treasure

@itanomaly
Copy link

Item: Pretty Feather

Bought, Sold, or both? Sold

Suggested Price (optional):

Why it should be added: The pixelmon description is 'Can be sold to shopkeepers', and it's not sellable atm.

@Khrisstias
Copy link

Item: String

Sold to market

Price: 5 pokecoins

Reason: i just wanna be rewarded for squashing bug pokemon, can lower the price as you can farm em from mineshafts

Item: Bone Blocks

Bought to market

Price: 15 pokecoins

Reason: Takes a lot of time to farm for, and they are interesting building blocks + a source for bonemeal.

@nightmaresquid

Item: Trident

Bought

Price: 2500-5000 pokecoins

Reason: obtainable by killing drowned. Would mainly be a novelty item but would be cool to get.

@BunkerMonk

Item: Dirt
Bought
Price: $10
Reason: There are quite a few environments that people live in that makes getting dirt a pain in the butt. It is a basic building block just like sand and stone so it does have lots of use. Especially for gardens. While I know you are afraid of the ugly dirt platforms I would like to point out that efficiency 5 shovel is simply gonna rip up the land and chuck it skyward regardless.

Item: Bedrock

Bought, Sold, or both? Sold from market

Suggested Price (optional): $100,000 per block

Why it should be added: funny vanity item, not really any other reason. also a flex block

@LuciferAshh
Copy link

Item: Ether Variants, Status Heal Varients, (Burn Heal, Etc)
Sold To Shopkeepers
Why it should be added: The items will basically never be used by players and atm they are just trash to be chucked, if the potion variants and X variants (X- Attack, X- Speed) are sellable to NPC's then these should be too imo

Item: Ranch upgrades

Bought, Sold, or both?: Bought/Both

Suggested Price (optional): 10k buy price (?)

Why it should be added: There's two main reasons for rank upgrades to be purchasable:

  1. From my perspective, Oblique faced a big issue with inflation in its economy. Assuming the soon-to-be reimplemented quests and gyms are similar to Oblique's, there will be a large influx of money into the economy which will go unchecked over time. Having another outlet of draining the economy through a very coveted and expensive item is a sure-fire way to combat this potential economic issue.

  2. Oblique (and by extension Nebula) has always prided itself on being not pay-to-win. While this is still mostly true, it would be very refreshing to see the barrier to access quick breeding lowered for all players. With Omen having /breed, while it is on a 30 minute cooldown, feels a bit like a slap in the face for normal players who want to compete in a predominantly pokemon-selling based economy.

If it feels like adding (albeit very expensive) ranch upgrades to the shop reduces the incentive for people to purchase Omen, please bare in mind that it requires 12 ranch upgrades to reach the maximum size ranch, and the fastest breeding time is 37.5 minutes (as opposed to Omen's 30 minute cooldown). If this fear still persists, please consider adding ranch upgrades to the shop anyway, and just reducing the /breed cooldown.

Item: Beacon/Nether Star

Bought, Sold, or both? Bought

Suggested Price (optional): $250,000 or $500,000

Why it should be added: Beacons are really useful end game structures that are basically impossible to get right now. Only way to get them in pixelmon is to kill certain legendaries for a 5% drop rate. So, not really farmable, plus who wants to kill really really rare pixelmon for just a 5% chance at an item?

Item: experience bottle

Bought, Sold, or both? bought

Suggested Price (optional): $1,500

Why it should be added: Since experience orbs are a lot harder to come by for mending, this can add an easy way to quickly repair your mending tools and armor for a cost.

Item: Black Dye, White Dye

Bought

Suggested Price: $10

All other dye's (Except white) are available in flower form, but black dye's flower (Wither rose) Costs 100, so I believe black dye should be separate as paying $100 for black dye is overkill. For white dye, it's the only dye you can't get from buying items in the market.

Item: Poke Bag (all colors)

Bought

Suggested Price: $4000

An (arguably) safer solution than shulker boxes for players to store their inventory as it does not need to be placed on the ground to be accessible. With no recipe or means to get them (as far as I know), it seems appropriate that it should at least be purchasable at /warp market to everyone's benefit.

Item: ALL BERRY LEAVES

Bought

Suggested Price: $3

Amazing for decoration, and the vanilla leaves are already sold for $2 each. Getting berry leaves in large quantities is annoying and it'd be amazing if we could buy them.

Item: Canvas

To be used in art map, the crafting recipe is intimidating for newer people. (Needs to be placed on easels to make artmaps)

Amazing as fence alternatives (They will become fences when placed next to eachother), they're also super cute! Getting these in large quantities is annoying and it'd be amazing if we could buy them.

Item: Leather
Bought
Suggested Price: $5

Used to create books, item frames, and canvas.
Murdering a ton of pokemon for leather just isn't interesting, and It'd be nice if we could buy it instead.

Item: small/medium/large card arena
Bought
Suggested Price: $2500/5000/7500

I don't know if there is a way to obtain card arenas for tcg yet so adding them to the market would make them widely available.

Item: Sould Dew
Suggested Price: 10000$ or 15000$

I was not sure if this was the place to suggest reduce the price of a item already in the market, but 60000$ for a Soul Dew is expensive af, even for active players that we have a good amount of money and we know how to farm more, so for new players that price is just too much, and I don't think that is a fair price. The Soul Dew only have 2 purposes: buff moves of latios and latias, or as a mega stone for the custom megas of the server, so 60000$ (the price of some legendaries) is astronomical, mostly when the majory of mega stones are selled between 5000$ or 1000$ (15000$ + specific ones like the ones for mewtwo, charizard, etc...).

The Soul Dew is a mega stone that works on 20 pokemon. It is extremely diverse in the ways it can be used and therefore the price of 60k is fair
