This question builds on the discussion in #33. In that issue, we confirmed that we should have an option to subscribe to updates about "citywide" projects, and that those notifications would be mutually exclusive from those for the individual community districts. This question is to gauge interest in providing one more option that would be for updates for all projects, regardless of their associated community districts or whether or not they are considered citywide. This would be adding scope to what we previously discussed but I could see it coming up later so wanted to call it out proactively. From a technical perspective, it could be valuable because giving users this option could cut down on the number of individual emails we have to send, thus decreasing our operating costs.
Questions:
Do we want to have an option for users to subscribe to updates for all projects (excluding any disqualifying properties such as public visibility)
If we do, does that email template and copy need to be different in any way for this subscription
