In some cases it is required to attach XDP dummy program, but CLI and API do not support this operation. Known workarounds:

  • ip link set dev <INTERFACE> xdp pinned /sys/fs/bpf/pipeline<ID>/xdp_redirect_dummy_sec
  • bpftool net attach xdp pinned /sys/fs/bpf/pipeline<ID>/xdp_redirect_dummy_sec dev <INTERFACE> overwrite
