Considering that queries will generally be single line/unbroken, perhaps a shorthand that compiles into normal SQL would be good.
Eg.
SELECT
S
SEL
FROM
F
:>
INSERT INTO
+>
SELECT INTO
++>
DELETE
DEL
:-
DELETE FROM
->
TRUNCATE TABLE
-->
DROP TABLE
!->
