Considering that queries will generally be single line/unbroken, perhaps a shorthand that compiles into normal SQL would be good.

Eg.

SELECT
- S
- SEL
FROM
- F
- :>
INSERT INTO
- +>
SELECT INTO
- ++>
DELETE
- DEL
- :-
DELETE FROM
- ->
TRUNCATE TABLE
- -->
DROP TABLE
- !->
