As I install this module, there's a warning saying the "D&D5e Animations" module's manifest contained the following unknown keys: "manifestPlusVersion", not sure if it is the version uncompatible? Also I'm using MacOS so that could also be a potential reason why there's a warning.

Ignore it. But I will remove it by the next update, whenever that comes.
