I would like to suggest a hardware modification for the Super Game Boy Plus that could significantly enhance its usability and versatility. Specifically, I propose adding a switch on the side of the Super Game Boy's casing, with two selectable positions:

Internal ROM Mode: This position would allow users to directly access the Super Game Boy Plus’s built-in ROM, bypassing the need for a cartridge.

Cartridge Slot Mode: This position would allow the system to read any cartridge inserted into the slot, as is the current standard. Ideally, if no cartridge is inserted, the system could default back to the internal ROM. However, I understand that automating this process may present technical challenges.

This addition would enable users to effortlessly switch between internal content and cartridge games without needing complex modifications or additional tools. I believe this feature would add substantial value to the Super Game Boy Plus and offer users a more seamless gaming experience.

Thank you for considering this enhancement, and I appreciate your ongoing commitment to improving the Super Game Boy Plus.
