samsho3 freeze on startup

samsho3 (MVS romset) freezes on startup when mode is console.

yeah, I know I should use samsho3h (AES romset).
But other titles I tried have no problem so far.
Is it expected behavior?

I’ve managed to recreate this with Darksoft rom. Although the (NGH-087) version seems to be fine
.neo files also seems to be ok.
So as Sorg says, real hardware needs to be checked

I could test the game in both version in my MiSTer and it worked. Unibios and original Japanese bios. ( AES-MVS configurations )

In real hardware both sets work good.
