Search function displays unformatted text

The search function currently (presumably) takes text directly from the md files, which means it is unformatted. Here is a photo.

Pictured: The text is raw and unformatted.

Is it possible to take this text and display it in some way that avoids markdown formatting? I figure this might be more work than its worth, it would just be great to look into if a fix is feasible.

Awesome! If it isn't a possibility then we can worry about it at a later date (the search still functions using unformatted text without issue, just looks a bit off for UX)
