Currently, SIP-2 does not specify any way for snaps to talk about assets in accounts, which means that the wallet can't display assets linked to snap accounts.

Minimally the new SIP should have:

  • Asset classes
    • Funglible assets (ERC20-like)
    • Non-fungible assets (ETC721-like)
  • User readable name / icon

Additionally more things could be added:

  • Fair market price in a standard currency ($/Ethereum/etc)
  • Total supply
