A new Dockerhub docker image has been pushed. This contains the current masters for mathics-core, mathicsscript and mathics -django.
Although we are in feature freeze until the next release, no doubt there will be a number of mostly small adjustments to the code between now and release. In fact, some changes may be discovered and inspired by work on getting the docker image out. So there is a bootstrap process going on here.
In this image, Python 3.10 is used for both mathicsscript and mathics-django. Ideally, pyston would be used since that runs Mathics3 the fasted.
However, for mathicsscript pyston is not used because it doesn't support PyQt5. As for Mathics-Django, this wasn't used in this image to simplify getting the docker image to build. (There were a bit more Docker changes and more work than I had expected.) There will probably be another dockerhub update with more streamlined code and Mathics-Django using Pyston sometime before the next PyPI release.
It has been 5 months since the last Dockerhub update. There has been a lot that has changed and improved in that time.
