I don't know if any other software does this, but I realized today that I spend a lot of time fussing with points and checking if they are exactly aligned.
For example, selecting a point and looking at its Y value to make sure it's 0 (on the baseline).
There should just be a visual cue that the two visual objects (in the most common case, point and baseline) intersect.
There should also be a visual cue—when a point is selected—whether any point on the screen is an X/Y-equal neighbor.
