I converted the cd music from the original disc to mp3 and put it in the "music" folder. What file names should I make? And how do I launch the game in fullscreen? Thanks.

Looks like the mp3 playback was remove at some stage. I will add it back.
Fullscreen should be turned on by using the lba.cfg file.

I've added mp3 or ogg back.
I used the same files from the Classic version of the game made by [2.21] and available on Steam or GOG.

Although I was not able to test, SDL Mixer does not recognize the files even though I have init everything. I wonder if something with my SDL1 setup.

Does not work. I bought this version of the game in steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/397330/Twinsens_Little_Big_Adventure_Classic/
Some files are not found. On steam, the file is named LBA1-02.mp3, and the game is looking for LBA1-2.mp3.

Did the intro midi and menu music worked with sound cfg as 3? (apart from the number padding issue?)

If you watch the video on the link, you can see that the music is not playing. When there are no problems with numbers, the music doesn't play anyway.
"Error while playing midi: 32"

Thanks for confirming. So is exactly the same issue I have on macos. It may be something else.
