I want a user to be able to install compiz and run 'compiz --replace' and get something functional. This can be done in many ways. Is compiz-manager the way to go? Default options (e.g.: add 'ccp' as a plugin if none are listed, and do something smart for decorator).

The default plugins is handled by core, a different issue might be needed to discuss WHAT plugins should be used.
