Notifications displayed either by Nest app or by Home app

I have installed the homebridge-nest last week in order to get notifications from Nest Hello. It appears that notifications triggered by device are being displayed by either Nest app or Home app, but never by both apps. Like if the first one to read the event would clear the notification on the server side.
Is this expected? Is there a way to make each app display it's own copy of notification?
