Homebridge works for about 5 mins and then stops

I updated to mojave developer beta 8 on monday and ever since then, my best home bridge will run for about 5 mins and then stop (resulting in a "no response" in my home app on my apple devices).

I haven't had any issues running homebridge on any the precious betas. The weird thing is, when home bridge stops showing up in my iOS devices, it still shows up and works in the home app on my mac. Is this a wifi issue? My mac is hooked up via ethernet.

Also isn't terminal supposed to update when i turn the nest dial? Now it only updates when I use the app (during the 5 mins or so when it works)
