Single Nest E Thermostat - Multiple Accessories #192
Comments
I saw your question, and apologies if I'm speaking out of turn (I'm new here), but I use a different distro, and ran into this same issue. In the one I'm using, there was a feature added to combine them if desired: I added this to my config to resolve: "disable": ["Thermostat.Fan", "Thermostat.Home", "Thermostat.Eco"] |
Where did you put this statement in your config? |
I’ll pull my config when I get home and get back to you! |
Actually I got it. It is working now as expected. Thank you for your help! |
Awesome! I remember having quite the time finding it myself, glad I could be of help! |
My thermostats are showing up as multiple accessories in HomeKit (I have 2 thermostats and 8 accessories are showing). This previously wasn't the case with my previous gen 3 thermostat. There was just one accessory. I am wondering if this is something specific to the e series or if there is something I am doing wrong. I did notice that the versions of what to add in the permissions section of the nest developers gui are different than the instructions. Is anyone else having this issue? I have started from scratch a couple of times to no avail.
