Problem Statement

We want to see the metrics of calling Konnect APIs to operate Konnect entities.

Proposed Solution

Add metrics of counters and histograms of duration with the following attributes:

  • Method (Create/Update/Delete/Get)
  • Entity type (ControlPlane/Service/Route/Consumer/Plugin/...)
  • Succeeded (True/False)
  • Status Code (200/201/400/...)
    ...

Acceptance Criteria

  • We can see metrics of sending requests to Konnect .
